Rankings and Home/Visitor

[edit]

I went through the Alamo Bowl website and archived information on the Internet to add rankings and home/visitor designations to the Previous Results chart. I also removed the intro paragraph about the 1947 game, since it's already wiki-linked at the top of the article. Last, I added the paragraph about the Alamo Bowl's only overtime game. Great work! I especiallly like the table featuring the team ranking and also the attendance. Best, Johntex\talk 09:37, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How is MasterCard no longer title sponsor?

[edit]

How? There has been no alert I've seen that MasterCard has pulled the plugSoxrock 17:14, 30 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My guess is that they decided to not renew the deal for another year. And why should MasterCard notify everyone that they didn't? It could create bad publicity. If you have any questions, please contact me at my talk page. Ian Manka 06:08, 31 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No reason to split

[edit]

There is absolutely no reason why Alamo Bowl broadcasters should be split from Alamo Bowl. That list is a stub that is only 4kb long. The main article is 13kb long, much of which is tables and lists, well within the limits of WP:SIZE. A single article is only 17kb long, which is permitted, so there is no reason why the article should be split. Reywas92Talk 17:50, 31 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Two 2016 Alamo Bowls

[edit]

I'm trying to update/fix the infobox, which previously didn't include the results of the latest game. The linking is off, the problem being the fact that there are (or will be) two "2016 Alamo Bowl"s: the one that took place on January 2, 2016 and the one that takes place on December 29, 2016. Any ideas on how to clarify/fix this? Should the current Wiki article titled 2016 Alamo Bowl be renamed "January 2016 Alamo Bowl"? Any suggestions/help would be great.
